                                                                                                                    December
​Tuesday, December 31: clearing and cooling overnight with some scattered high clouds just before sunrise.  It turns cloudy by midmorning but then gradually clears through the afternoon as the wind picks up and temperature drops rapidly after dark.
​Monday, December 30: cloudy with light snow starting at midnight with steady, strong wind overnight while staying mild.  Scattered afternoon light snow while wind let up slightly, on a mostly nasty day.
​Sunday, December 29: cloudy and warm overnight with steady wind and very dense snowfall, then cloudy but dry by sunrise with steady clearing  starting midmorning.  Partly to mostly cloudy in the afternoon util clouds build late day as it warms to a record high for the date while turning breezy, with a bit of clearing at sunset.
Saturday, December 28: cloudy and mild with light snow through much of the night.  Cloudy, dry and calm through mid afternoon when some wind starts up but only brief periods of light snow during the day.
Friday, December 27: cloudy and windy overnight with snow a couple hours before and then after midnight, starting again near sunrise while staying mild as wind died down.  Note the difference in maximum wind between the station here (18 mph) and the Kettle Ponds site (38mph).  After a pause in the snow it started back up midmorning but staying generally light through the day but picking up late afternoon.
​Thursday, December 26: gradually clearing to become clear to partly cloudy overnight with some scattered high clouds while cooling.  High clouds move in early morning and then becoming cloudy midday with a very light snow starting, gradually increasing fora while and then becoming light to none early afternoon on.
​Wednesday, December 25: mostly cloudy to cloudy, calm and mild overnight.  Variable cloud cover through the morning with slow warming and a trace of new snow until a period of moderate snowfall becoming very light and scattered in the afternoon.
​Tuesday, December 24: a trace of new snow before clearing while quite mild until the temperature dropped some near sunrise.  Clouds build early but there is some clearing midmorning, then variable cloudiness through the day though still warming well above freezing.
​Monday, December 23: mostly cloudy sky kept the heat in overnight as it stayed on the warm side, then becoming cloudy by midmorning with just slow warming.  It stays cloudy through the afternoon until a bit of clearing near sunset.
​Sunday, December 22: clear and mild with the daylength that is now one second longer (now what can i do with all that extra light?).  Sunny and calm with some scattered high clouds late morning, building in the afternoon to become mostly cloudy though not before another record high temperature (i guess that extra second of light helped it along).
​Saturday, December 21: welcome to the solstice, clear and mild as it stays sunny and calm while warming through the day for a record high temperature.
​Friday, December 20: clear and cooling overnight, then cloudless, calm and with slow warming as it again beats freezing, but not by that much.
​Thursday, December 19: mostly clear overnight with just occasional scattered high clouds while staying mild.  High clouds burn off late morning while it stays calm with slow but gradual warming.
​Wednesday, December 18: clear and cool overnight.  Clouds build starting just before sunrise and then clear out midmorning as it slowly warms though barely tops freezing.
Tuesday, December 17: cloudy, windy and very warm.  Some cloud thinning early morning, but it stays cloudy and windy until some clearing late morning with only little warming, still below the day's high, which came around midnight.  Clearing late day and starting to cool as wind let up.
​Monday, December 16: cloudy overnight, then variable cloudiness and mild with light wind.
​Sunday, December 15: cloudy and windy with very light scattered snow showers during the night while staying warm.  It stays dry and windy with a bit of clearing in the morning, then gradually clearing through the afternoon while staying windy.
​Saturday, December 14:  light snow after dark followed by rapid clearing and cooling, then sunny and warming through the day with high scattered cirrus clouds midafternoon, becoming mostly cloudy but warmer by late day.
​Friday, December 13:  mostly cloudy overnight while staying mild, then cloudy with very light snow just before sunrise continuing off and on through the morning.  Snow picks up late afternoon with occasional wind gusting, then becomes light again near sunset as temperatures slowly drops though the afternoon.
​Thursday, December 12:  clear and cool with some scattered high cirrus clouds during the morning as it warms. Partly cloudy in the afternoon with high, thin clouds and no wind as it warms to near freezing.
​ Wednesday, December 11:  clear and cooler overnight, then sunny with gradual warming through the morning with scattered high clouds in the afternoon.
​Tuesday, December 10:  generally cloudy overnight with occasional very light snow and some off and on wind.  Cloudy, windy and cold before some slow clearing late morning, then rapid clearing midafternoon with very limited warming, while still windy.  Clouds build back a bit late day as wind continues.
Monday, December 09:  clouds move in overnight starting to build a couple hours before sunrise while staying mild.  It becomes cloudy early morning with very light, small crystal cold-weather snowfall that did not last long, amounting to very little while staying chilly with a light wind.  Cloudy with steady cooling through the afternoon but no snow.
​Sunday, December 08:  clear and holding mild most of the before dipping near sunrise.  Then sunny until clouds move in late morning, but clearing out in the early afternoon s it warms above freezing as it has every day so far this month.
​Saturday, December 07:  clear and cool, followed by yet another clear and calm day (don't worry- we will pay for it later on) with just some very scattered high cirrus afternoon clouds and rapid cooling late day.
​Friday, December 06:  clear and cooling overnight, then another cloudless, calm and warm day as high pressure continues to sit over this region.
​Thursday, December 05:  clear and cool early with steady warming all day and no wind, nor even a cloud to be seen.
​Wednesday, December 04:  clear and cool early then another cloudless, calm and warming day, though with early morning heavy surface hoar (frozen dew, if you will) which will come back to haunt us avalanche wise later in the winter.
Tuesday, December 03:  clear and cool overnight with some scattered high Cirrus clouds by sunrise.  Clearing out late morning as it warms with some increased clouds midafternoon on another warm and calm day.
​Monday, December: clear and cool overnight followed by steady warming on a clear and calm day.
​Sunday, December 01:  clear and cool overnight followed by a cloudless and calm day, though still on the cool side.

​Saturday, November 30:  clear and cold overnight, then warming rapidly through the day with just occasional high scattered clouds and no wind.
Friday, November 29:  clear and cold, then slow but steady warming through the day, though barely getting into to 20'sºF as cold weather lingers.
​Thursday, November 28:  cloudless, calm and very cold overnight with slow but steady warming through the day, though still chilly.
Wednesday, November 27:  heavy snowfall all night only letting up around three hours before sunrise (between 3 and 4 a.m.) and becoming light with moderate wind starting around midnight. The wind stops near sunrise as cloud cover thins and snow stops followed by clearing early morning to become partly cloudy late morning, then clearing late day as temperature drops rapidly.
Tuesday, November 26: cloudy with light snow after dark picking up near midnight and then light to moderate during the night and very dense.  Snow becomes moderate and steady the rest of the day with periods of heavy snow while staying quite mild with little wind.
​Monday, November 25:  very light and short snow into the night, then gradually clearing while staying mild.  It becomes clear soon after sunrise and remains so until clouds return midafternoon, becoming cloudy late day.
​Sunday, November 24:  becoming cloudy by midnight while staying warm with some light snow overnight, then a bit of clearing near sunrise.  It turns cloudy again midmorning with late morning light, but dense, snow starting.  Cloudy with steady light to moderate snow in the afternoon, letting up as wind picks up late day turning things nasty.
Saturday, November 23:  clear to partly cloudy and mild overnight and through the morning. Warming in the afternoon to the 2nd record high temperature day in a row with strong wind at times, while clearing late day.
​Friday, November 22:  clear and cool overnight, then cloudless, calm and very warm.
​Thursday, November 21:  clear and cool but warming rapidly through the day as the high temperatures goes into the mid 40'sºF on a calm day.
​Wednesday, November 20:  clear and easily the coldest morning of the winter so far, then clear with steady warming with little to no wind.
​Tuesday, November 19:  cloudy with scattered light snow, then picking up a bit after midnight.  Cloudy and cool with scattered light snow and occasional wind in the morning and no warming.  Little warming through the day with infrequent afternoon scattered snow showers and light to moderate wind before some clearing and rapid cooling late afternoon.
​Monday, November 18:  clear and cool much of the night with clouds moving in rapidly near sunrise.  Mostly cloudy and cool through the day, turning windy in the afternoon, then cloudy but calmer late day before clearing after sunset.
​Sunday, November 17:  a trace of snow after dark, then clear and cool.  Sunny and calm with gradual warming through the day.
Saturday, November 16:  partly cloudy much of the night with clouds moving in a few hours before sunrise while staying windy and warm.  Partly to mostly cloudy through the morning, breezy and cool, then clearing, calm and chilly through the afternoon with temperature dropping fast towards evening. ​
Friday, November 15:  clear and mild with some clouds moving in just before sunrise, then clearing by midmorning.  Partly cloudy with afternoon wind, strong at times, then becoming clear at sunset
​Thursday, November 14:  clear and cool with gradual warming through the day, especially mid afternoon on  a cloudless day.
​Wednesday, November 13:  light snow continues until near midnight, then clearing and cooling, especially towards sunrise.  Sunny and calm with steady but gradual warming through the day.
​Tuesday, November 12:  clear and mild overnight with clouds rapidly moving in just after sunrise, then wind and  light snow starting midmorning as the temperature drops.  Wind lets up with a light snow off and on late morning, then cloudy with sporadic very light snow and gusting wind in the afternoon before stopping late day only to start snowing again after dark.
​Monday, November 11:  clear, calm and cool early, then sunny and warming, becoming almost hot by late afternoon.
​Sunday, November 10:  cloudy and cool then warming nicely on a calm and cloudless day.
​Saturday, November 09:  cloudy and cool overnight with scattered snow showers of tiny crystal, dense snowfall.  Cloudy with wind starting late morning, then a bit of clearing early afternoon before becoming clear late day,
​Friday, November 08:  cloudy and cool overnight and through the morning.  Cloudy and calm with a short period of light snow early and then again late afternoon, but only a trace total while barely getting above freezing.
​Thursday, November 07:  Variable cloudiness overnight but generally mostly cloudy and cold, but dry.  Clouds start to break up midmorning becoming partly cloudy and windy by midday, then clear late afternoon and warming.
​Wednesday, November 06:  A dismal day, and the weather is not so good either.  It was cloudy, calm and mild overnight with light off and on snowfall, mostly just after sunset and then again, though, lighter towards sunrise.  Then very light scattered snow showers through the morning with a little bit of sun midday, then cloudy and cool in the afternoon.
​Tuesday, November 05:  cloudy and mild overnight, then light snow starting after sunrise going until midmorning but so light as to not be measurable.  Then snow starts back up light but steady early afternoon as it stays cloudy with little warming and the high temperature below freezing for the first time since early April.
​Monday, November 04:  cloudy and mild with light but steady snow, stopping a couple hours after midnight with clearing at sunrise.  Partly to mostly cloudy with a slow, steady warming, then generally cloudy near sunset.
Sunday, November 03:  mostly cloudy and warm overnight becoming cloudy near sunrise with very light snow until a little bit of clearing midmorning.  generally cloudy and calm though periods of limited clearing with scattered light afternoon snow.
Saturday, November 02:  clear with high, scattered cloud building late afternoon while warm.
​Friday, November 01:  clear and cool overnight, then clear, calm and warming through the day with some slow cloud building late day.

Thursday, October 31:  cloudy with light snow after dark, then clearing a few hours before sunrise.  Some scattered clouds in the afternoon and just lught wind.
​Wednesday, October 30:  clear and cold through much of the night with the lowest temperature of the year, but clouds move in near sunrise causing some warming and very light snowfall.  Snow for two hours then some slight clearing and warming, followed by variable cloud cover and periods of light snow through the morning with only infrequent very light afternoon snow showers, then some clearing and turning cooler.
​Tuesday, October 29:  cloudy and warm overnight with rain after dark going until about 10 pm when it turned to snow and staying steady and very dense.  Wind starts up after sunrise as snow stops before starting up moderately heavy midmorning with wind increasing, then stopping with a little bit of afternoon clearing with wind slowing down and no new snow but no warming.
​Monday, October 28:  clear and warm overnight.  Clouds move in at sunrise and clear out by mid-morning. then return midday becoming cloudy and windy midafternoon with scattered very light snow flurries late day turning to rain just before sunset.
​Sunday, October 27:  clear and cool with some scattered clouds early but clearing out soon after.  Then sunny and warm with some scattered afternoon high clouds.
​Saturday, October 26:  clear and cool with some scattered clouds at sunrise, moving pout shortly after and then clear and warming through the day with just light wind.
Friday, October 25:  clear and cool with gradual warming and only light wind through the morning, then sunny and warm with only light wind.
​Thursday, October 24:  clear and mild overnight with early morning temperature rising fast near sunrise along with a start-up of wind and a 12ºF increase in temperature in a half hour.  Sunny, windy and warm into the afternoon though the steady wind kept it from and afternoon heating.
​Wednesday, October 23:  cloudless and mild with steady warming through the day and with little to no wind.
Tuesday, October 22:  clear and the coldest morning so far this winter.  Then cloudless and warming, especially in the late afternoon.
Monday, October 21:  cloudy with brief moderate snow in the morning, then gradually clearing as it warms back nicely.
​Sunday, October 20:  mostly cloudy, dry and mild overnight and clearing by sunrise, but only briefly as clouds mov back in after an hour or so.  Mostly cloudy and windy into the afternoon, becoming cloudy late day.
​Saturday, October 19:  cloudy, with some periods of mostly cloudy, and scattered rain showers stopping before midnight while staying mild.  Cloudy and mild through the morning, then some wind and a bit of clearing and warming midday and even a short partly cloudy period before turning cloudy mid/late afternoon.
​Friday, October 18:  generally cloudy and warm overnight with scattered periods of light rain, then cloudy and slow to warm through the morning staying dry and calm.  Wind and light snow/rain start midday as the temperature remains cool but very short lived, then cloudy, dry and cool through the afternoon with a light rain at sunset.
​Thursday, October 17:  cloudy and warm overnight with a slight bit of clearing and cooling towards sunrise before becoming cloudy again with very light off and on rain but snow higher up.  Cloudy with intermittent periods of dry, rain and snow through the morning, then mostly dry, though cloudy, through the afternoon with short periods of rain or snow.
​Wednesday, October 16:  mostly clear overnight while staying mild before clouds move back in early morning.  Briefly clearing midday, then clouds and wind return in the afternoon with a late afternoon light rain shower.
​Tuesday, October 15:  clearing and mild overnight, then sunny through the morning with clouds building in the afternoon staying partly to mostly cloudy and warm.
Monday, October 14:  clearing after dark with scattered clouds overnight while staying mild.  Clouds thin by midmorning as it becomes clear, breezy and warm, then build back in the afternoon staying mostly cloudy into the evening.
Sunday, October 13:  clearing overnight while mild as clouds slowly build through the morning, then mostly cloudy in the afternoon but warm

​Thursday, October 10:  clear and mild with steady warming after clouds moving in just after sunrise, though slow to build until becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon.  Clouds clear a bit near sunset, then clear out after dark.
​Wednesday, October 09:  clear and mild overnight, then sunny until clouds move in late morning followed by moderate afternoon wind.
​Tuesday, October 08:  clear and cool with the lowest temperature since May 22, then sunny and warming with some scattered clouds midday and some midafternoon wind.

​Sunday, October 06:  cloudless, breezy and warm as the smoke has cleared out.
​Saturday, October 05:  clear and mild, then warming but wind starts up midmorning bringing in substantial smoke.  Given the strong westerly flow i would suspect the smoke is from the Raspberry Ridge fire in the Ragged mountains south of Marble.  The wind lets up a bit midafternoon and the as the smoke gets slightly lighter before turning calm near sunset.
​Friday, October 04:  clear and mild overnight, then sunny with rapid warming early, then gradual through the day.
​Thursday, October 03:  another cloudless, warm and lovely day with just a light wind.
​Wednesday, October 02:  clear and mild with a midmorning breeze while staying clear and warm all day.

​Monday, September 30:  clear and warm with wind starting late morning, then letting up in the evening on another cloudless and warm day.
​Sunday, September 29:  clear and warm with clouds building in the afternoon as wind gets stronger though it stays dry and warm then clears near sunset.
Saturday, September 28:  clearing and warm overnight, then clear with a light breeze through the morning.  Clouds build in the afternoon cutting the heat a bit though it still stays warm with some clearing late day.
​Friday, September 27:  clear and warm overnight, with some clouds moving in at sunrise.  Partly to mostly cloudy and warm through the day with a light wind.
​Thursday, September 26:  clear and mild then steadily warming through the morning.  Some scattered clouds near mid-day and becoming breezy as the wind is starting to take the leaves off the trees, but partly cloudy and warm through the afternoon.
​Wednesday, September 25:  clear and mild, then cloudless and warming through the day to a record high.

​Friday, September 20:  partly to mostly cloudy and mild during the night while staying above freezing as the area is in peak fall colors.  Clouds slowly move and to become partly cloudy late morning and holding through the afternoon while becoming quite warm, then clear in the evening.
​Thursday, September 19:  clear and cool overnight with some scattered clouds just before sunrise.  Clouds move out early morning as it stays clear through the day and warming nicely.
​Wednesday, September 18:  clear and cool overnight, the coldest morning since late May.  Then cloudless and warming through the day on a lovely fall day.
​Tuesday, September 17:  a rain shower in the evening and then variable cloud cover and mild overnight, holding mostly cloudy through the morning with strong wind before noon.  It became cloudy early afternoon with a moderate rainfall for about an hour before some clearing.  Clouds move out at sunset.
​Monday, September 16:  light evening rain , then clearing but returning to mostly cloudy towards sunrise, the cloudy midmorning.  A light rain starts late morning as the temperature drops, then rain stops midday though staying cloudy and cool through the afternoon.
​Sunday, September 15:  clear and cool until clouds move in jut after sunrise to become cloudy by midmorning, then some clearing. It turns cloudy and raining early afternoon before some clearing again, then cloudy with light evening rain.

Thursday, August 29:  clear and cool as the low temperature again flirts with freezing.  Then clear, breezy and  warming as some afternoon clouds build as the wind picks up early in the evening.
Wednesday, August 28:  clear early with some scattered clouds late morning as it steadily warms  before clearing out late day.
Tuesday, August 27:  clearing and much cooler overnight.  Clear through the morning with just some scattered afternoon clouds while warming steadily, then clear again.
Monday, August 26:  Mostly cloudy and mild with some clearing at time, then cloudy midday with a heavy rain and hail storm early afternoon, then gradual clearing.
​Sunday, August 25:  variable cloud cover overnight with sporadic, light rain showers while staying mild and clearing near sunrise.  Clouds build soon after with variable cloud cover through the morning and a brief shower midmorning, then cloudy with off and on rain in the afternoon.

​Monday, March 25: cloudy, breezy and mild overnight with snow early in the night but then becoming scattered and light with a bit of clearing and cooling just before sunrise.  Cloudy with steady moderate wind (and highly irritating) through the day and only a slow warming with the high below freezing for the first time in 10 days.  Wind lets up a bit near sunset with a few flakes of snowfall starting.
Sunday, March 24: cloudy, windy and warm with snow much of the night before some clearing a couple hours before sunrise.  Snow was wind driven and dense before wind let up not long after midnight.  Variable cloud cover through the morning as the wind became calm and it gradually warmed, picking up in the afternoon, until becoming cloudy midafternoon with snow starting late day, picking up in the evening.

​Wednesday, February 28:  clearing after dark as the wind stops but it turns very cold. Cloudless and calm with a steady warming through the day with a 51ºF difference between the low and high temperature.
​Tuesday, February 27:  cloudy and very warm with very strong, steady and gusting wind but only light, scattered snow overnight.  The wind lets up some a bit after sunrise though strong gusting continued but snowfall picks up.  The temperature drops slowly but steadily through the morning as wind decreases, though still moderate and gusting, with light to moderate snow along with periods of heavy snowfall.  Wind picks back up in the afternoon as snowfall turns light, stopping by midafternoon, and temperature continues to slowly drop.

Wind stayed light to none until near 4 a.m. when it started back up turning snowfall light. Then cool with generally light snow and light, but gusting, wind before both wind and snowfall stop not long after sunrise as it says cloudy and dry with just a light breeze through the morning.  Some late afternoon clearing but too late to help warm the air but at least just a light wind as temperature drops fast.
