Sunday, December 31: cloudy, windy and warm overnight. Gradual clearing in the morning while staying windy but with little warming. Windy with variable afternoon clouds.
Saturday, December 30: windy overnight as clouds move in while staying warm as temperature stays above freezing overnight. Variable cloudiness, windy and warm through the morning as today becomes a record high temperature day despite the clouds and wind. Then windy and warm as it becomes cloudy by late afternoon.
Friday, December 29: clear and mild overnight with some scattered high clouds after sunrise. Wind picks up some mid morning but dies mid afternoon as it warms above freezing and then on to a record high for the day.
Thursday, December 28: clear and quite mild overnight with some temperature drop at sunrise. Clear and warm despite afternoon wind.
Wednesday, December 27: clear with rapid cooling after dark but then a rapid warm-up a couple hours before sunrise despite staying clear. Cooling some again at sunrise then warming by mid morning but then backing off as wind picks up early afternoon. Partly cloudy and windy through the afternoon.
Tuesday, December 26: cloudy and warm with steady wind all night but staying dry. Gradual clearing towards sunrise as wind continues, then partly cloudy, windy through the day while warming to above freezing.
Monday, December 25: cloudy and mild with steady snow all night. Snow turns light as wind starts up at sunrise becoming nasty with blowing snow, then settling a bit with only strong gusting. Wind slows and snow picks up mid day as it warms a bit but then mid afternoon only light snow and windy. Snowfall stops near sunset as cloudy cover thins.

Little warming as only very light snow starts up after sunrise as wind stays steady. Wind driven light snow through the afternoon with wind increasing and becoming very strong late afternoon into the night.
Friday, December 22: the snow did not continue long after dark and the 'storm' produced only 4" of snow in the Gothic area. Then clearing before midnight and cooling. Clear with slow but steady warming with some clouds building early afternoon as wind works its way down from higher elevation mid afternoon but is short lived.
Thursday, December 21: cloudy and mild with snow starting just before 5 a.m. but short lived. Light snow resumed around sunrise but off and on and so far the storm is a flop, though the snow picked up some mid afternoon with some increased wind late day, though generally light. Then heavier snow near sunset going into the night.

Thursday, December 07: clear and the coldest morning of the winter so far. Clouds move in early morning as it warms slightly for a brief time and then stops as it becomes cloudy by late morning with limited warming for the day and wind adding to the cold feeling.
