​Tuesday, May 13: partly cloudy with rapid warming as wind shifts to the southwest a couple hours before sunrise, then cooling back with light wind at sunrise.  Variable cloudiness through the morning and windy then clearing in the afternoon as wind stays strong.
​Monday, May 12: clear and warm through much of the morning with midday clouds starting in, but then clearing out in the afternoon with some moderate wind.
Sunday, May 11: clear and warm with clouds moving in late morning and slowly building in the afternoon, then some clearing late afternoon.
Saturday May 10:  clearing overnight and in the morning with clouds building late day as wind starts but it still is the warmest day of the year so far.

​Friday, May 09: partly to mostly cloudy overnight while mild and dry.  Variable cloud cover through the day with wind midday but warming nicely.
​Thursday, May 08: mostly to partly cloudy overnight and cooling.  Cloud cover slowly builds through the morning and into the afternoon becoming mostly cloudy but warming in the low 50sºF (teens ºC) for the first time in 4 days but staying dry.
​Wednesday, May 07: variable cloudy cover overnight while staying mild, then cloudy much of the morning after brief period of some clearing with limited warming.  Cloudy in the afternoon with a few very short periods of snow only a couple minutes long.
Tuesday, May 06: variable cloudy cover overnight with light snow in the evening while staying mild.  It turns cloudy at sunrise and holds through midafternoon when it starts to clear.  Some scattered wet snow in the afternoon but minimal.
​Monday, May 05: cloudy with scattered light snow after a brief rain shower followed by some clearing during the night while staying warm, then cloudy again before sunrise.  Cloudy through the morning with snow starting midday and dropping the temperature, then clearing for a bit in the afternoon before turning cloudy again as snow starts back up.
​Sunday, May 04: clearing after midnight while staying mild.  Clouds build becoming mostly cloudy by midmorning but still steady warming as wind picks up, then cloudy and windy in the afternoon before some late afternoon clearing, then cloudy again. Snow on the ground drops to zero so officially the winter snowpack is gone.
​Saturday, May 03: clear and cool overnight, then cloudless and warming through the day as snow is about gone at the station site.  Some clouds build late afternoon while it stays calm and warm.

​Sunday, April 20: cloudy with light snow into the night but stopping a few hours before midnight followed by gradual partial clearing and cooling.  Mostly cloudy through the day with a light wind.
​Saturday, April 19: cloudy with scattered overnight snow while cooling.  Some clearing after sunrise as it slowly warms until clouds build midafternoon with light snow for about an hour before stopping but staying cloudy.
​Friday, April 18: cloudy with strong wind through midnight after followed by a brief period of light to moderate snow, then cloudy with moderate wind and slow cooling.  Wind lets up as cloud cover thickens late morning with little warming and snow starting just after noon lasting about an hour before stopping as it turns calm.  Light snow resumes early evening.
​Thursday, April 17: cloudy and windy with light snow early in the night and very brief, light rainfall while staying warm.  Slow and steady clearing after sunrise with a daylong variable cloud cover as strong (and irritating) wind continued through the day.

​Thursday, April 03: cloudy, windy and cool overnight with very light, wind driven snow just before sunrise.  Cloudy, windy and cool into the morning with scattered, light snow while the wind slows down midmorning becoming light in the afternoon.  Intermittent light afternoon snow while staying cloudy all day and warming to near freezing but stopping just short, then a little bit of clearing towards sunset.
​Wednesday, April 02: snowfall late evening into the night, ending just before midnight, then clearing and turning colder.  Sunny with steady warming through the morning with scattered high clouds and light wind late morning.  Clouds build in the afternoon to become mostly cloudy as wind gusts at time while staying cool.
Tuesday, April 01: cloudy and mild overnight with steady, very strong wind which let up briefly just before sunrise when there was the only real snowfall overnight.  Cloudy and windy until late morning when the wind lets up slightly at times, then picks back up until letting up late afternoon with even a short period of some sunlight.  It turns back to cloudy in the evening as wind dies down with snow starting back up.

​Monday, March 31: variable cloud cover overnight with light, scatted snow towards sunrise.  Then variable cloudiness through the day with moderate wind and strong gusting in the afternoon.
​Sunday, March 30: mostly cloudy to cloudy overnight with scattered light snow, windy and some cooling starting a couple hours a couple hours after midnight.  Cloudy and mild through the day as the wind lets up, then cloudy and cooler in the afternoon with late afternoon wind and snow showers early evening.
​Saturday, March 29: cloudy and warm overnight with scattered light snow.  Cloudy with occasional brief peaks of sun in the morning, then some clearing in the afternoon with a variable cloud cover.
​Friday, March 28: variable cloud cover during the night and through the morning while staying warm.  Wind starts up mid-morning gradually increasing as clouds build in the afternoon to become cloudy midafternoon though staying warm.
​Thursday, March 27: clear and mild overnight.  High clouds move in mid-morning as it warms and despite the variable afternoon cloud cover the temperature was back into the upper 50'sºF, just below the past 2 record breaking days.  Some afternoon light but gusting wind.
​Wednesday, March 26: clear and warm overnight, then another cloudless and a generally calm, hot day with some scattered clouds late afternoon.
​Tuesday, March 25: clear and warm early, then cloudless, calm and hot.  A lovely day as snowpack continued to disappear as it has dropped 28 cm (11") in the past 3 days.
​Monday, March 24: clear to partly, very warm and windy.  Clouds build late morning but variable being generally partly cloudy with moderate wind, then partly cloudy and hot in the afternoon with a massive drop in the snowpack.
​Sunday, March 23: it stays cloudy and windy with light snow into the night.  Sky starts to clear after midnight as wind dies down becoming partly cloudy as the snowpack reached the dates average for one of the few times this winter, though with warm weather on the way it will settle fast.  Partly cloudy and warming steadily through the day with only light wind.
Saturday, March 22:  cloudy with light snow during the night becoming heavier, though light density, as couple hours before sunrise. Then light, but dense snow before pausing.  Wind generally light but with gusting as it warms to above freezing.
​​Friday, March 21: partly cloudy, windy and mild, clearing out towards sunrise.  High clouds move back in early morning but staying partly cloudy with a little wind through the afternoon.
​Thursday, March 20: clear overnight and very cold with some high thin clouds moving in just before sunrise warming it up a bit.  Clouds build rapidly to become cloudy, then a short period of patches of blue sky before cloudy again before noon.  Cloudy to mostly cloudy through the afternoon though still warming to above freezing. Wind starts back late day.
​Wednesday, March 19: cloudy and windy overnight with only scattered very light snowfall, then cloudy and windy into the day.  Cloud cover slowly thins becoming mostly cloudy near noon and holding through the afternoon with continued, though slightly milder, wind.
​Tuesday, March 18: cloudy and warm with moderate snow at and just after sunset, then dry overnight.  Light wind early in the night but becoming strong around 2 a.m., then letting up some near sunrise with some clearing.  Mostly cloudy with strong wind returning early morning, then cloudy and still very windy but mild late morning before wind letting up as moderate snow started midday for about an hour.  Wind changed direction becoming strong, cutting off snowfall as temperature drops, with variable wind and variable snowfall through the afternoon with snowfall when wind is light.
​Monday, March 17: clouds move in after sunset as it remains mostly cloudy to cloudy overnight building after sunrise as it turns cloudy with gradual warming while staying calm- a lovely day actually as it becomes quite warm.  Then wind shifted and became strong for a while before turning lighter as snow starts up in the evening.
​Sunday, March 16: mostly cloudy to cloudy overnight and windy at times with only scattered snow showers.  Gradual clearing started mid-morning along with the everly irritating wind, then becoming clear early evening.
​Saturday, March 15: variable overnight cloud cover with just a brief, light snow as temperature steadily drops and wind dies down.  Mostly cloudy to cloudy with just a light breeze through the morning with scattered brief snow flurries with slow warming.  Variable cloudy with light to moderate wind in the afternoon.
​Friday, March 14: light snow after dark pausing around midnight and starting back a couple hours before sunrise. with moderately strong wind switching from SW to westerly and dropping temperature.  Cloudy with only light off and on snow but steady moderate strong wind.  Note the Kettle Ponds wind gusts to 45 in an open area south of here.  Some limited clearing early afternoon, then cloudy and light snow, then a little clearing again with wind all the while.
​Thursday, March 13: variable cloudiness throughout the night, continuing through the morning with gradual warming and no wind.  Clouds slowly build in the late afternoon to become cloudy early evening.
​Wednesday, March 12: variable overnight cloudiness while staying quite mild.  Clouds slowly clear out becoming partly cloudy in the and warm in the afternoon with just light wind.
Tuesday, March 11: clear and cool, then warming as high clouds move in midmorning.  Becoming mostly cloudy into the afternoon but still warming into the mid 40'sºF.
Monday March 10: clear and cool overnight, then sunny and warming with light wind.

​Friday, March 07: cloudy and cooling during the night with strong wind before midnight, gusting to 39 mph at the station and 53 mph down valley.  Mild with steady light, wind driven snow all night stopping a bit before sunrise, then mostly cloudy with light to no wind before clearing and warming in the afternoon.
Thursday, March 06: cloudy and warm overnight with light to no wind and light but very dense snow most of the night.  Very light off and on snow with light wind starting midmorning.  Light to moderate wind with gusting with light snow through morning, picking up some just after noon, then a period of light wind with little snow late afternoon until wind resumes
​Wednesday, March 05: brief light snow after dark, then cloudy with the wind letting up.  Some clearing just before sunrise causing it to cool a bit, the becoming partly cloudy and warm.  Clouds slowly build late afternoon to become cloudy but calm and mild.

​Tuesday, February 18: cloudy and mild with scattered overnight snow showers and light wind.  Some clearing just before sunrise as wind picks up, then mostly cloudy, windy and mild through the day becoming cloudy with extremely light, scattered snow late day.
​Monday, February 17: cloudy, warm and windy at times, with occasional light snowfall during the night.  Wind resumes early morning as it slowly warms during the day as wind increases near noon to become moderate with strong gusts at times.
​Sunday, February 16: brief, light snow after dark then gradually clearing and turning cold while staying calm as the snowpack settles 9 cm (3½") overnight.  Clouds move in just before sunrise and slowly build becoming partly to mostly cloudy with gradual warming through the morning, then cloudy in the afternoon with a brief but moderately heavy late day shower.
Saturday, February 15: cloudy, calm and mild overnight with a spurt of heavy snow after dark and then just light, scattered snowfall.  Clouds thin and snow stops not long after sunrise, then starting up off and on-again midmorning with variable intensity through the day with some afternoon wind at times.
​Friday, February 14: cloudy, calm and mild overnight with steady, heavy snowfall continuing into the morning decreasing a bit midmorning but still strong.  Snowfall does lighten up late morning with a light wind, then snow becoming light to none until starting back mid/late afternoon, then stopping near sunset.
​Thursday, February 13: clearing overnight and turning very cold but at least the wind stopped.  Gradual warming through the morning with high cirrus clouds moving in, building to altocumulus and becoming mostly cloudy late morning.  Cloudy, calm and mild in the afternoon with very light snow starting at sunset.
​Wednesday, February 12: cloudy with light to moderate snow after dark, becoming light with strong wind through the night, letting up towards sunrise as it becomes colder.  Gradual clearing starting early morning with light wind and only minimal warming despite the sum but with strong wind by late morning.  It becomes cloudy early afternoon with continued wind and a daytime high of only -13½ºC (08ºF) with the wind letting up a bit near sunset.
​Tuesday, February 11: partly cloudy after dark and cooling before clouds build after midnight warming things up.  Moderate wind starts early morning as it stays cloudy and dry with limited warming through the day while clouds build with a trace of afternoon snow, picking up at sunset.
​Monday, February 10: cooling rapidly after dark before clouds move in just after midnight causing temperature to rise as it becomes cloudy.  Cloudy and mild with light snow starting late morning, scattered and light in the afternoon with light wind while mild.
​Sunday, February 09: light snow starts back up around 10 p.m. lasting 2 hours before ending and then gradual clearing with the wind gradually decreasing towards sunrise while the temperature drops drastically at sunrise.  Then sunny and calm with steady warming through the day with some scattered late days clouds and a light wind as the high creeps above freezing again (and everyday so far this month).
​Saturday, February 08: cloudy and warm overnight with steady, strong wind.  Snow started about 2-3 hours before sunrise but light and wind driven.  Snow was light and stopped by midmorning and the wind let up somewhat at times starting late morning but resumed early afternoon.  Cloudy and windy with no new snow and little warming but wind let up early evening.
​Friday, February 07: variable cloud cover, very windy and warm overnight.  Variable cloudy with slow warming and moderate to strong wind through mid-morning then becoming partly cloudy before noon.  Clouds build in the afternoon becoming cloudy late day as wind continued and temperature steadily rises through the day.
​Thursday, February 06: clearing overnight, windy and partly cloudy while staying very warm as wind lets up towards sunrise.  A bit of cooling near sunrise but then clear and calm early, then steady warming and a light wind into the afternoon with some late day gusting.
​February 05: partly to mostly cloudy, very windy and warm, then becoming cloudy and windy early morning. Cloudy and windy in the afternoon with limited daytime heating.
​Tuesday, February 04: partly cloudy overnight and mild though slightly cooler.  Clouds build midmorning to become cloudy by noon but still warming nicely to a daily record high.  Cloudy, breezy, dry and warm through the afternoon.
​Monday, February 03: variable cloudiness, windy and very warm overnight.  Wind stops just after sunrise as the morning holds partly cloudy while warming fast and had set the  record high for this date by midmorning.  Partly cloudy, hot and  breezy through the afternoon.
​Sunday, February 02: cloudy with light, but very dense, intermittent snow starting near midnight until about 2 hours shy of sunrise as it stayed very warm overnight.  Cloudy through the day with moderate wind but steady warming.
​Saturday, February 01: turning cloudy, windy and very warm overnight, then clouds slowly thin as wind continues, though little warming through the morning. Sky starts to clear midday and it warms as wind stays moderate but steady.  It becomes cloudy again late afternoon as it never really warmed during the daytime.

​Thursday, January 30: clear to partly cloudy and cooling overnight until a low pressure's west of here brought in warm wind initially then turning cooler as it become a northerly flow.  Sunny, breezy and warming through the morning, then clear but windy in the afternoon which kept it from heating up.
Wednesday, January 29: clear and mild overnight, then sunny and warm with wind starting up late morning and clouds moving in early afternoon, staying partly cloudy.
Tuesday January 28: clear, quite warm and with light to no wind until light wind but gusting in the afternoon.
Monday January 27: clear and cool overnight, then warming while wind stays calm.
​Sunday, January 26: cloudy and mild with light snow near sunrise.  Slow clearing early morning to become partly cloudy by the late morning.
Variable cloud cover in the afternoon as it warms to near freezing, then clouds clear out at sunset.
​Saturday, January 25: mostly cloudy to cloudy and mild overnight with just a light dusting of new snow, then cloudy and calm through the morning with slow but steady warming as it reaches freezing.  Light wind, occasionally gusting, late afternoon as cloud cover stays solid but weather stays dry.
​Friday, January 24: clear and cold once again.  Clouds move in not long after sunrise becoming partly cloudy with a steady warming and little to no wind until clouds build early afternoon while warming and the wind starts up.  Cloudy most of the afternoon with moderate and gusting wind but also getting close to freezing
​Thursday, January 23: clear and cold, but calm,  overnight though a weather change is soon to happen (you know it's been cold when -17ºF does not seem all that bad).  Sunny with a slow, steady warm through the morning and then wind starts midday putting an end to that.
​Wednesday, January 22: mostly cloudy, windy and mild with Tuesday and Wednesday highs coming near midnight after warmer air came in with the wind.  Once the front passed the air behind it cooled back down while the wind continued as the day became windy, cloudy and cold with clearing at sunset.
​Tuesday, January 21: clear and the coldest temperature of the winter and a record low temperature for the date.  Light scattered clouds move in during the morning only becoming thicker midday, then clearing back out becoming variable in the afternoon and warming into the teensºF for the first time in 3 days, the  warming after sunset for the days high temperature.
​Monday, January 20: overnight clouds kept it warmer than recent mornings low temperatures, but usually a cloud cover at night keeps it much milder.  The good news is that sunrise is now back to where it was on the solstice, as despite days getting longer since then, sunrise continued to get later (can i sue someone for that?!)  Some slow clearing starting early morning, but the sun was little help in warming it up even though it was only partly cloudy for a few hours in the afternoon as clouds build. but then clear out near sunset as the temperature drops.
​Sunday, January 19: clear with rapid cooling a few hours after midnight on the coldest morning so far (wait until Tuesday) this winter.  Some (not needed) clouds move in soon after sunrise as it holds mostly cloudy and calm through the morning, then cloudy in the afternoon with a trace of new snow while cold.
​Saturday, January 18: mostly cloudy to cloudy and windy overnight with light snow for a couple hours just after midnight.  Mild overnight but dropping from the day's high at midnight and staying cold and windy through the morning.  Temperature slowly dropped through the day with moderate wind but no new snow, then some clearing and continued cooling at sunset.

​Thursday, January 16: clear and cool overnight, but a much warmer sunrise temperature than it has been in the past week.  Cloudless and mild with steady warming in the morning and then taking off in the afternoon on a rare of late warm day.
​Wednesday, January 15: once again clear and cold, then cloudless and calm through the day but finally with some decent warming, though still below freezing, and cooling fast late day.
Tuesday, January 14: as soon as it gets dark the sky clears out and temperatures drop once again.  Clouds move in soon after sunrise, then clear out midmorning though it stays cold until late afternoon warming but the temperature drops fast early evening.
Monday, January 13: clear with the coldest temperature of the winter.  Some clouds move in midmorning while staying cold but with little to no wind, then becoming cloudy in the afternoon with some light, cold weather snow.
Sunday, January 12: clearing and again cold, tying for the coldest morning this winter, though not near a record low for this date (-29½ºC, -21ºF, in 1989 and 2013).  Cloudless and calm through the morning with a gradual but slow warming as it did not get out of the teens (ºF) and gets cost quickly after sunset.
​Saturday, January 11:  Cloudy and windy with steady light snow overnight stopping soon after sunrise, then scattered snow during the day.

​Friday, January 10: clear and cold, then cloudless with steady but very slow warming as it stays cool but thankfully little wind.
​Thursday, January 09: rapid cooling after dark until clouds move in causing temperature to rise.  Some clearing after sunrise with a light breeze, then mostly cloudy, dry and cool through the afternoon.
​Wednesday, January 08: clear and cold overnight.  Cloudless and calm through the day but slow to warm.
​Tuesday, January 07: mostly cloudy and cool overnight with just scattered very light snowfall.  Cloud cover slowly thins so that there is some sun coming through as it holds partly/mostly to mostly cloudy midmorning until mostly cloudy most of the afternoon.  No wind and gradual warming, but clearing cool at sunset.
​Monday, January 06: mostly cloudy and cool overnight with just a trace of new snow.  Mostly cloudy and calm with slow warming through the morning, then cloudy in the afternoon with a very light, dense cold weather small crystal snowfall near sunset.
​Sunday, January 05: cloudy and windy with light snow after dark, ending before midnight.  Gradual clearing before sunrise to become partly cloudy by late morning, then mostly cloudy by noon and through the afternoon with very light, sporadic snow showers and moderate wind. Clearing and cooling after dark.
​Saturday, January 04: cloudy and mild with a quick temperature rise along with a strong, brief gusting early.  Then a light breeze until wind picks up late morning as it warms above freezing.  Cloudy with snow starting in the afternoon, moderately heavy at times with wind picking up.  Snow stopped late afternoon  before starting again at sunset while wind was intermittent, though strong at times.
​Friday, January 03: clear and cooler overnight with scattered high cirrus clouds just after sunrise as it stays partly cloudy with gradual warming through the day, then late day cloud building.
​Thursday, January 02: cloudy and mild with light snow starting around midnight and continuing off and on through the morning with light but gusting wind.  Some clearing late afternoon as it warmed to near freezing.
​Wednesday, January 01: partly cloudy and cool overnight with clouds moving in a couple hours before sunrise becoming cloudy soon after.  Very light snow during the day with no buildup while staying chilly and calm until a midafternoon light breeze, picking up late day.
